What our students and visitors say
Peter and Bella,
I just wanted to express my gratitude to you both for another delivery of this fine superfood of the Spring. To Peter for being the expert grower and to Bella for being the superb organizer. You two do make a good team. Every year it seems like as soon as Spring hits, I get this hungry feeling that can't be satisfied, at least not till Peter's asparagus arrives. When I start eating the asparagus, then the hunger is satisfied. These greens are really satisfying too. Of course it is that way with all of Peter's produce, more satisfying than anything else I can find, or even grow myself. If an opportunity comes up, I want you to know I'll be very happy to take more.
Thank you very much,

Dear Peter and Bella,
I truly don't know how to express how grateful Jacob and I are for the hospitality, the knowledge, and the love we received this past weekend. It was a life changing event for us. We both had trouble on Tuesday adjusting to the so-called real world, once we got back to town. Your farm is the 'real world', the way it should be- in balance with nature. Bella, we loved the cooking. You have brought great talent to the business. Peter, your knowledge of the desert and herbs is incredible. Your healing stories are amazing. Both of you have a very gentle and loving spirit. You make a perfect team. Jacob had a very hard time telling his friends about the weekend. He tried, but they didn't want to hear it. They thought it was all stupid. That is truly a shame. He did have one friend who thought it was really "cool, " so we may be looking into coming back sometime for a retreat.
Again, we can't thank you enough for providing a wonderful experience.

My first time at RMS was in April of 2007, when I participated in the Native Herbology course. I learnt more about native medicinal herbs in two days than in four semesters of classroom schooling.
Gratefulness is the first thing that comes to me when I think of Reevis Mountain School. I greatly cherish Bella and Peter's idea of striving for self-reliance and harmony with nature, harmony with everything. They have a gift for gently opening new channels of learning for the visitor, regardless of who the person is.
The valley itself is a very special place, me being there always brings out a sort of sacred re-connecting, something that is more precious to me than any teaching, instruction or medicine. i would encourage anyone who can to take the young ones to RMS for a wonderful experience, and I hope to continue to be a part of it.

Both Christine and I want to thank you for a fabulous stay with you. I apologize for not being able to provide the physical labor that you so desperately need there, but I am mending and will be okay soon. I was at peace there. I especially want to thank you for your insight and guidance. I hold you in a special place in my heart and I want you to know that I appreciate you for being you and for doing what you do. Please know that if you need something, don't hesitate to call on me.

Hi BellaDonna,
Your figs there are awesome! We had a great day at the farm. I think it's good for kids to experience that kind of thing. Brianna feel so much love from you...she is so special and so are you.

P.S. If you make another batch of Kambucha or know where we can get it, I'd like to send some to my aunt with cancer. Thanks for sharing that with us. We learn something new every time we visit with you.
Hi Bella and Peter,
Thank you so much for the awesome box of papers and supplies donated to our group, and also the plums, which are delicious. My son, Mikal age 8, who is sitting on my lap, is saying they are the best fruit he ever tasted in his life.
Take care and talk to you soon!

I have been to RMS a few times, first to take a class on medicinal plants and local herbology, later to visit. It is a truly remarkable place, Peter and Bella are gentle guides with high spirit. It is not just the great food or the magical environment but the ideas of re-connection, looking for answers within, self-empowerment and self-reliance on many levels, and that healing is ALWAYS an option. I feel that everyone should spend a few days there, especially kids and young adults. Please share this with the ones who would like some feedback.

Peter is one of the greatest teachers I have ever had the privilege to learn from. This is saying a lot, as I have studied in several countries under teachers of all faiths and beliefs from Buddhist Monks to Hindu Healers. Peter has a passion that comes through his teaching that makes you want to learn and change your life. Trish, 10/2007
